CFI Innovation Fund (Research Western instructions)

• The formal ORS process for CFI JELF applications begins 16 weeks prior to the external CFI deadline. The first step is the ADR informs ORS of support for application. 
• Informal Faculty-level process (meeting with ADR to discuss application scope and approval) should begin well in advance.

CFI JELF Competition - February 15 Competition

• ADR informs RD of support for application: Before October 20
• Meet with Purchasing/RD to discuss application process: October 23-27
• 1st draft deadline to RD: December 4

Researchers need only submit one application for this competition. Funds will be drawn from various sources based on the aim of the proposal, the amount of funding requested, and funds available under each source of funds. Researchers submitting multiple applications will be considered only for one award.
