In this edition, we are thrilled to feature Lauren Miller, an Honours Bachelor of Arts graduate with an Honours Specialization in Political Science and a Minor in Sociology from Western University.

Miller’s academic journey at Western is a testament to the depth and impact of the Political Science program. “Throughout my time in the Faculty of Social Science, I had the privilege of learning from professors whose professional experiences and mentorship greatly influenced my desire to pursue a career in law,” she shares. The program’s rigorous curriculum and real-world applications provided Miller with the tools to excel academically and the inspiration to aim high in her professional aspirations.

Beyond the classroom, Miller’s involvement in Western’s vibrant community enriched her university experience. She took on leadership roles in the Orientation Program, Ontario Hall Residents' Council, Social Science Students’ Council, and Women in House. These experiences not only deepened her connection to the Western community but also honed her leadership, organizational, and advocacy skills—qualities that will undoubtedly serve her well in her future career.
