This edition features Yashvi Patel, an Honours Specialization student in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience, with a focus on Developmental and Child Psychology.

Yashvi’s academic journey reflects the breadth and versatility of the Psychology program at Western University. "The program is unique because it bridges the sciences and the arts," she shares. "From neuroscience to industrial/organizational psychology, there’s something for everyone to discover." This interdisciplinary approach has allowed Yashvi to cultivate her passion for understanding how children develop and learn, combining the rigour of scientific research with real-world applications.
